Visitor's Visa Citizens of the following countries will be issued visitor's visas or (transit Visas - see below) free of charge at port of entry in Israel: Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Central African Republic, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Eire, El Salvador, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany (citizens born January 1, 1928 or later), Greece, Gibraltar, Guatemala, Haiti, Hong Kong, Hungary (fee charged), Italy, Iceland, Jamaica, Japan, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Malawi, Mauritius, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Philippines, San Marino, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, St. Kitts, Swaziland, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad and Nevis, Tobago, United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man), Uruguay and the United States. Citizens of the following countries (as well as stateless persons) should apply for visas before their departure at any Israel diplomatic or consular mission: Antigua and Barbuda, Belize, Benin, Bermuda, Bhutan, Brunei, Burkina Faso (upper Volta), Burma, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Brazzaville), Equatorial Guinea, Guyana, Honduras, India, Ivory coast, Kenya, Kiribati, Liberia, Madagascar, Malta, Maldives, Mali, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Portugal, Romania, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Tanzania, Zaire, Zambia, Zimbabwe. Citizens of any other country should apply for visas at the nearest Israel diplomatic or consular mission, remitting the prescribed fee.
Visas may be extended (for a nominal fee) at office of the ministry of the Interior in the following locations: Afula, Akko (Acre), Ashkelon, Beer Sheva, Eilat, Hadera, Haifa, Hertzelia, Holon, Jerusalem, Nazareth, Natanya, Petah Tikva, Ramat Gan, Ramle, Rehovot, Safed, Tel Aviv and Tiberias.
